A man (57) was killed after the car he was travelling in crashed in Co Wexford last evening.
The man was a front seat passenger in a car that crashed into a tree at Courtballyedmond, Monamolin, at about 6.15pm, according to a Garda spokesman.
The female driver of the car, thought to be in her 70s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital with minor injuries.
The woman who died yesterday afternoon when her car struck a wall at Inverin, Co Galway was named today as Treása Quinn (73) from Knockavaddy, Furbo, Co Galway.

A total of 244 people have been killed on the State's roads since the beginning of this year, according to the Garda Press Office. The toll is at least 15 more than the same period in 2005.
