A man has died in a car crash in Co Galway early this morning.
The victim (43) was killed at the scene after the car he was driving hit a ditch at Leenane, Co. Galway at 1.15am.
The road is closed. and diversions are in place locally. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Clifden Garda Station on 095-22500 or the Garda confidential line on 1800-666-111.
Yesterday, a woman (27) died in Co Tipperary after her car crashed on the Fethard to Cashel road in a single-vehicle incident.
