Man (42) stable after Dublin shooting incident

A 42-year-old man who was shot in the back in Dublin last night is now said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

A 42-year-old man who was shot in the back in Dublin last night is now said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

The man was shot at a house on Aughavanagh Road at about 10.30pm.

He was taken to St James's Hospital and was initially in critical condtion.  A spokesman for the hospital said this afternoon that his condition is now stable.
