A 37-year-old man has been arrested after gardaí seized drugs worth an estimated €50,000 in Cork earlier this evening.
The man was held after gardaí stopped and searched a car in the Watergrasshill area, recovering 5kg of what is believed to be cannabis grass.
He is being detained at Cobh Garda Station under Section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act.
Gardaí believed the drugs were intended for North City Cork area.
