A 30-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a truck in Co Offaly this evening.
The crash took place on the main Portlaoise to Mountmellick road at Kyletalisha, at around 5.20pm.
The dead man was alone in his car at the time of the crash.
His body was taken to Portlaoise hospital.
The truck driver was unhurt.
