A man has pleaded guilty at Dublin Central Criminal Court to a charge of rape.
The 27-year-old man pleaded guilty on the first day of his trial to raping a girl on May 27th, 1997.
Mr Justice Carney remanded the accused in custody for sentence on June 10th next. He requested updated psychiatric and probationary reports and discharged the jury.
