An 18-year-old youth has been arrested following the discovery of a handgun and three rounds of ammunition in west Dublin.
The weapons were found at a house in Clonsaugh area of Coolock this morning.
The man is being detained at Santry Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences against the State Act, 1939.
