BANGKOK - Mr John Major has no plans to intervene on behalf of the teacher, Sandra Gregory, who was jailed for 25 years in Thailand yesterday for heroin smuggling. Gregory (30), from Halifax, had hoped the British prime minister would take up her case when he arrives in Thailand for the EU/ASEAN summit today.
