LONDON - The British Prime Minister, Mr Major, announced a national inquiry into sex abuse at children's homes yesterday following numerous cases across the country, reports Rachel Borrill. During Prime Minister's Question Time, Mr Major told the House of Commons that he was "personally horrified" by the evidence and extent of child abuse in care homes, particularly in North Wales and had ordered an immediate inquiry.
