Canberra - Twenty-one letter bombs were found in Canberra's main mail sorting centre early today, leading to a national alert after one exploded, slightly injuring a postal worker, police said. The letter bomb exploded at half past midnight, prompting an urgent search of the building which found the other devices, Sgt Ron Garbutt said. "It was a well constructed, sophisticated letter bomb," he told ABC radio.
