Pete Mahon has been appointed manager of eircom league Premier Division side UCD.
The former Bohemians manager replaces Paul Doolin who left the club last week to manage Drogheda United.
Mahon, whose son Alan is a UCD player, steered Belgrove to the FAI Intermediate Cup last season.
His first game in charge of the students will be against Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.
