Kuala Lumpur - The High Court judge in the trial of the former finance minister, Mr Anwar Ibrahim, said he would decide today whether to call the Malaysian Prime Minister, Mr Mahathir Mohamad, as a witness.
"The court decision will be tomorrow," Judge Arifin Jaka said after lawyers from both sides argued on the merits of having the 74-year-old Prime Minister testify in the sodomy trial which has divided the country. Mr Anwar is serving a six-year jail term for corruption.
