THE Transport Minister, Mr Lowry, said reports that he had been offered a substantial libel settlement by RTE were "without foundation".
The Fianna Fail spokesman, Mr Seamus Brennan, asked the Minister about the weekend newspaper reports that the Minister had been offered £200,000 and said there was a conflict of interest in the Minister, with his communications brief, suing a State company, RTE, for which he had a partial responsibility.
