Liverpool have agreed a fee with Leeds for midfielder Lee Bowyer.
Bowyer, who refused to sign a new contract at Elland Road, will discuss personal terms with Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier after the weekend ahead of his expected switch to Merseyside.
Club spokesman Ian Cotton announced: "We have agreed a fee with Leeds for Lee Bowyer.
"They have given us permission to talk with the player and that will happen in the early part of next week."
