There appears to be little public support for the Labour Party going into coalition with Fianna Fáil, even if there is a hung Dáil, according to the findings of latest Irish Times/TNS mrbi poll.

When asked which available coalition option they favoured, 32 per cent of voters said they wanted the Fianna Fail/PD coalition with just 3 per cent fewer favouring the Fine Gael/Labour alternative backed by the Greens.

However, just 12 per cent are in favour of a Fianna Fail Labour Government. Although Mr Rabbitte has declined numerous opportunities to definitively rule out going into coalition with Fianna Fáil, at appears voters have little enthusiasum for such a match.
