Racing: Liscanna dug deepest of all to land Group Three glory in the Ballyogan Stakes on a good night for trainer David Wachman at Leopardstown.
Divert set off quickly under Chris Hayes in the six-furlong contest but came back to the field as the runners turned for home.
Wayne Lordan conjured a great run out of Liscanna (7-1) and she got up by a neck in a bobbing finish from That's Hot, with Wachman's Absolutelyfabulous in third.
Aidan O'Brien's Theann, running in the first colours of the winner, looked a little unlucky as she got a bump at a crucial stage inside the final furlong.
Wachman said: "They went good and quick there.
"She wouldn't want the ground any quicker, she's better with an ease. I've no firm plans, we'll just keep finding our way with her — there might be a race for her back here over seven furlongs."
Quinmaster made every post a winning one to claim the Listed Glencairn Stakes over a mile.
Mick Halford's charge was still travelling strongly turning for home under Johnny Murtagh but looked momentarily vulnerable as Pat Smullen and Cheyenne Star threw down a strong challenge.
The 7-2 chance found plenty for pressure, however, and kept Frances Crowley's charge at bay by a head.
Halford said: "He's as genuine as they come. I put cheekpieces on just to help him concentrate.
"He likes being in front and he's honest and consistent — he deserved that. He's a genuine Listed horse and a bit of ease in the ground tonight helped.
"I wouldn't mind going back over hurdles with him, we'll have a look and see."
Smullen had better luck earlier on the card as Truly Mine upheld Classic form with her victory in the nine-furlong Kingston Maiden.
Dermot Weld's filly, far from disgraced when fifth to Finsceal Beo in the Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh, found plenty when pressed by the O'Brien newcomer De La Grandera to score cosily.
The 4-6 favourite had one and three-quarter lengths in hand at the line, with Head Of The River back in third, and is likely to head to the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh on June 30.
Elletelle gave another boost to the form of leading two-year-old Pencil Hill with a short-head success in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden.
The Ger Lyons-trained filly had a short head to spare over Jim Bolger's Pittori in the six-furlong event.
The winner, who was sent off the 5-2 favourite, had finished third to Tracey Collins' Pencil Hill at Naas on her only previous start.
Pencil Hill went on to win a Listed event at the Curragh from subsequent Group Three scorer You'resothrilling and is in line to contest the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
