Limerick is to get a £15 million private hospital. To be run by the Bon Secours nuns and BUPA, it will be in the grounds of Limerick Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle. The 75-bed facility has been approved by Mid-Western Health Board officials but the 28-member health board has yet to vote on the proposal.
