Leeds have agreed a three-year deal with the out of contract Australian international Paul Okon.

Okon, released by Middlesbrough, agreed to make the switch to Elland Road today after undergoing tests and will be officially unveiled as a Leeds player on Monday morning, providing he passes his medical.

The 30-year-old will become Leeds boss Terry Venables' second signing, following hot on the heals of Nick Barmby.

Former Lazio and Fiorentina man Okon played under Venables when the Elland Road boss was in charge of Australia's national squad.
