The Republic's first postgraduate course in third-level teaching has been set up by the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), writes Emmet Oliver.
Candidates take the course in "third-level learning and teaching" at certificate, diploma or masters level. No State-funded, third-level college has offered a similar course in third-level teaching before.
