Five-seaters:The party won 41.9 per cent of the vote and 41.8 per cent of the seats. An almost exact match.
Four-seaters:Fianna Fáil got 39.8 per cent of the vote and 46.4 per cent of the seats, a seat bonus of 6.6 per cent.
Three-seaters:The party won 43.9 per cent of the vote and 50 per cent of the seats, a bonus of 6.1 per cent.
