Knock International Airport has reported a 55 per cent growth in passenger numbers in the first quarter this year.

In a statement today, the airport said 52,600 passengers passed through the airport, leaving the airline on track to achieve its target of 400,000 passengers, an increase of 60 per cent on 2003.

Contributing to the rise are two new daily routes, to Manchester and Glasgow. A third new route to Nottingham East Midlands will commence this Friday, April 30th.
