The Kerry county board have scheduled a press conference for this evening as they attempt to diffuse the controversy surrounding the senior football management team.
The conference has been called for 5.00 p.m. today at The Pavilion, Austin Stack Park, Tralee.
Kerry football, reeling because of comments made by manager Paidi O'Sé in a Sunday newspaper, was thrown further into crisis last week when fitness coach John O'Keefe refused to take training, apparently because of a rift with O'Se.
That training session was cancelled amid fears that O'Keefe may tender his resignation. But the county board has been meeting all parties over the weekend in a bid to resolve the issue and will hope to clear the fiasco up tonight.
