A jury is to return to the Central Criminal Court this morning to continue deliberations in the case of a Dublin man who denies raping his former girlfriend.

The jury of six men and six women took 2 1/2 hours yesterday to convict the 42-year-old accused man on charges of assaulting the alleged victim (37) and her sister, and of a burglary charge.

He still faces a charge of raping his former girlfriend in his Dublin home on August 18th, 1997. The trial continues.
