A judge has refused jurisdiction in the case of a man accused of failing to make tax returns involving £267,000 over seven years. Judge James Scally did not consider the case of Mr Mark Doran (49), Enniskerry Road, Phibsboro, Dublin, could be dealt with in the District Court after hearing the amount involved.

Mr Frank Cassidy, solicitor for the Criminal Assets Bur eau, asked that the case be put back for further directions from the DPP. Judge Scally remanded Mr Doran on continuing bail to September 26th.
