Joyce's 'Dubliners' wins council project

James Joyce’s Dubliners has been chosen as the “Dublin: One City, One Book” title for 2012.

James Joyce's Dublinershas been chosen as the "Dublin: One City, One Book" title for 2012.

The Dublin City Council-sponsored project, now in its sixth year, encourages people to read a particular book during the month of April. The chosen title will be supported by a wide range of public events and celebrations next April.

Previous One City, One Book novels have included Flann O'Brien's At Swim Two Birds, Sebastian Barry's A Long, Long Way and Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels.
