The remains of a Belleek pottery shamrock pattern coffee set, presented to President John F. Kennedy at Dunganstown, Co Wexford, during his visit to Ireland in June 1961, was sold at Sotheby's in New York last week, for £22,500. The retail price in 1961 was about £200.
