AS Roma's title-decider against Parma was dramatically halted today just minutes from the end after a mass pitch invasion at the Olympic Stadium.

Play was stopped with league leaders Roma 3-1 up roughly five minutes from the end of normal time and apparently on course for their first title in 18 years.

Several Roma players had shirts and kit ripped off them by home fans who stormed the field.

The match between Juventus and Atalanta was also halted when fans of home side Juve invaded the pitch at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

Juve were leading 2-0 but it was clear that their hopes of winning the Italian first division title were over with AS Roma leading in their match at home to Parma.
