A previously unknown Islamistgroup claimed responsibility for the attack on the UNheadquarters in Baghdad this week, an Arabic television channelsaid today.

Dubai-based Al Arabiya said it received a statement claimingresponsibility from a group calling itself the "Armed Vanguardsof the Second Mohammed Army".

"The statement promised to make war on all foreigners and dosimilar acts," the station, showing a picture of the statementin Arabic, said.
