An Irish priest who was murdered in the Philippines over 50 years ago is to be reburied in his native Co Clare.

An Irish priest who was murdered in the Philippines over 50 years ago is to be reburied in his native Co Clare.

The body of Fr Tommy Flynn, a Colomban missionary, was disinterred from where it was buried in October 1950.

Fr Flynn had been shot dead by government troops during a raid on a village where he was staying. He will be buried in Kilkishen next week.
