The Irish Bridge Union will be represented by A. Montwill with V. Hand, M. Trench with A. Glynn at the European Union Women's championships in Ostend, Belgium, in April. While the latter pair, along with C. Pippet and E. Joyce, will play for the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland against the English Bridge Union at the end of February.
