Woman in 20s killed in Wexford collision

A woman in her 20s was killed in a road collision in Co Wexford this afternoon.

She died after the car she was driving collided with another at Newbawn, New Ross. The incident took place at about 2pm.

The man driving the second car was not seriously injured, a Garda spokesman said.

The road was closed to allow forensic collision investigators examine the scene.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact New Ross Garda station on 051-426030.
