Man airlifted to Waterford hospital after ravine fall

Incident occurred at Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains during party in area

A man who incurred injuries at the Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains in Co Waterford has been airlifted to University Hospital Waterford.

The man fell in to a ravine just after 6am today and suffered spinal and shoulder injuries.

It is understood the injured party was one of a group of men in their twenties having a party in the area at the time of the incident.
