A 22-year-old man has died following a car crash in Co Wicklow last night.
The crash occurred at Milltown Lane in Ashford at about 11.50pm when the car left the road and hit a ditch.
The driver was fatally injured in the incident and a 26-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries. He was taken from the scene to St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown, Co Dublin for treatment.
Traffic diversions are in place near the scene of the crash to allow gardaí carry out a forensic examination.
