Delays on M50 following southbound collision

Southbound lanes were closed for a time earlier following crash

Delays have been reported on the M50 southbound this morning following a collision.

Southbound lanes of the motorway were closed for a time earlier following a collision between a motorcyclist and a van.

The crash occurred between junctions five and six – Finglas and Blanchardstown - shortly after 10am.

There were no reports of any serious injuries, and southbound lanes have now been reopened to traffic.

However, gardaí have warned motorists to expect delays.
