Tehran - Iran's state organisation for Islamic propaganda said yesterday the death sentence on Salman Rushdie was still in force and that Muslims must help carry it out.

The conservative-run body, the Iranian regime's main propaganda arm, issued a news release on the eve of the 11th anniversary of the fatwa, or religious decree.
