A hoax letter bomb was discovered at the home of Mr Peter Robinson, deputy leader of the Democratic Unionist Party, at about 3.30 p.m.

yesterday. Mr Ian Paisley jnr of the DUP blamed the IRA for the hoax, saying it was "classic terror tactics" to demonstrate the ability to get into people's homes at will.
