Ms Clennell (24) of Ipswich, was found naked in woods at Levington. Police believe the body of the second woman — lying around 150 yards away — is that of missing prostitute Annette Nicholls (29) and also from Ipswich.

Earlier today, detectives said Ms Clennell had died as a result of her "neck being compressed" but refused to be more specific about the cause of death.

Five women have been found dead in isolated locations to the south of Ipswich in the past two weeks. All were found naked.

A police spokeswoman said Ms Clennell was walking on a pavement and was wearing a navy blue anorak with a light blue band across the chest and down one arm, a grey hooded top, light jeans with patterns on a pocket, and Reebok Classic trainers, which were navy with a light blue and grey flash.
