Inquiry continues over Limerick body

Gardaí are treating the death of a woman whose body was found in a bath in a Limerick hotel room as suspicious.

Gardaí are treating the death of a woman whose body was found in a bath in a Limerick hotel room as suspicious.

A postmortem is being held today to try to establish how the woman -  who was discovered lying face down in the bath by cleaning staff at the Clarion Hotel yesterday afternoon - died.

The woman, said by gardaí as being between 20 and 40 with long black hair, was wearing a full length black coat when she was found.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
