Gardai have appealed for help in identifying a man who was found collapsed outside the entrance to St James's Hospital, Dublin, on Saturday evening. He is being treated for cerebral bleeding in Beaumont Hospital. It is thought he may have been attacked or was in an accident.

The man is in his mid-50s to early 60s, is 57["] tall, of stocky build with grey hair, balding.

He was wearing a black leather jacket with a hood and brass-zipped garrison pockets, grey slacks and a brown and beige diamond-patterned jumper. Anyone with information should contact Kilmainham Garda station at 677-1211.
