A man strangled his wife after she started divorce proceedings and then buried her body in a shallow grave where it lay undiscovered for 18 years, a London court heard yesterday. Michelle Folan's skeleton was found in 1999.
Mr Patrick Folan (46), from north London, denies murdering his then 24-year- old wife in 1981. The trial continues today.
