Paris - An American whose 1972 book on the pro-Nazi Vichy regime helped change the way France saw its wartime past is to testify today in the trial of accused collaborator Mr Maurice Papon.
Mr Robert Paxton, a retired Columbia University history professor, will speak at the trial in Bordeaux, where Mr Papon (87) is charged with sending 1,560 Jews to Nazi death camps. - (Reuters)
