New Delhi - A hardline Hindu group said yesterday plans by Afghanistan's ruling Taliban to prescribe a dress code for non-Muslims could inflame passions in India.

The regional Shiv Sena party, a member of the federal coalition government, said the Taliban were seeking to identify members of Afghanistan's tiny Hindu community and harass them.
