British heavyweight Audley Harrison failed to put away his former sparring partner Mark Krence in London last night as the fifth fight of his professional career turned into a battle.

Chesterfield's Krence pushed Harrison all the way to a six-round decision which referee John Keane gave the Olympic super-heavyweight champion 55-58.

Harrison landed a number of heavy shots but Krence kept going forward and tagging his much-hyped opponent.

Harrison looked tired through the last two rounds and will be frustrated at his inability to finish the fight.
