Stockholm - A gun found by divers in a central Stockholm lake on Wednesday was not the weapon used to kill the Prime Minister, Olof Palme, 12 years ago, a senior police officer said yesterday.
Mr Lars Nylen, head of the criminal police, told the Swedish news agency, TT, that the gun could not have fired the bullets in the still unsolved murder.
