Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind hopes to raise £150,000 between today and Saturday in its first national fund-raising campaign.

The Max Trolley Days will involve supermarkets and schools around the State and are based on shoppers accepting assistance from collectors in exchange for the £1 trolley charge. Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind needs £2.6 million to train 130 dogs over the next four years.
