ATHENS – Greek police suspect an elusive urban guerrilla group is behind a bomb attack that wrecked the ground floor of Greece’s biggest insurance company, authorities said yesterday.
About 3kg of dynamite exploded outside the offices of National Insurance at about 11pm on Sunday, destroying the ground floor of the building. It broke windows of cars parked nearby. No one was hurt.
A police official said the attack bore the hallmarks of Revolutionary Struggle urban guerrillas.
