An organisation based in south Armagh, Families Acting for Innocent Relatives, has met representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs to express concern over what it sees as Government inaction at paramilitary activities along the Border during the Troubles.

Following yesterday's meeting at Iveagh House, the secretary of FAIR, Mr Brian McConnell, said he told officials that certain sections of his community were unhappy at the role of the Government "in quelling the terrorists along the Border".
