The board of Greencore has elected Mr Patrick D. Barry as chairman and co-opted Mr Patrick Kennedy and Mr Peter Woodall to the board of executive directors.
Mr Barry succeeds Mr Bernie Cahill who stepped down as chairman after Greencore's AGM earlier this month.
Mr Barry (66) has been a member of the Greencore board since November 1992. He is a former chairman of CRH - previously having been chief executive.
He is a director of Bank of Ireland Group, DCC and Ivernia West - and a past president of IBEC.
