London - Britain's House of Lords yesterday revolted against government haste to pass a bill stopping soccer hooligans travelling abroad, demanding at least one more day to debate it with a summer recess looming.

The Labour government wants the bill to become law by the time parliament breaks for its summer recess on Friday so it can be in place in time for England's World Cup qualifying matches this autumn.
