Gardaí have named the two men who were killed when their car collided with an articulated truck in Co Waterford yesterday afternoon.

The two were named this morning as Mr Ivan Duffin (19) and Mr David Browne (18), both from Ballycullane, Co Wexford.

They died at the scene of the accident on the main Waterford-to-Wexford road at about 5.00 p.m.

The driver of the lorry was taken to Waterford regional hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
